I graduated from the University of Durban-Westville, South Africa, in 1992 and worked in Early Intervention, Substance Abuse Rehabilitation, and Skilled Nursing Facilities until finding my niche in Pediatric Occupational Therapy after relocating to the USA in 1995. I initially started working with the pediatric population in the community, ie. homes, schools and daycare settings until establishing a private practice in 2001. This was expanded to provide Occupational, Physical and Speech therapy to a pediatric population in varied treatment settings in the greater Orlando area. I continue to attend continuing education courses and workshops to improve my knowledge on how to best assist the children and families that we work with.

I discovered my love for gardening while quarantined at home during the pandemic, but also enjoy board games, reading, riding bikes, hiking, camping, crocheting, and painting. I married my high school sweetheart over a decade ago and adopted my son and daughter from the foster care system in 2018. I am known for my commitment to the families I work with. I am organized and reliable by nature and my passion for helping children learn how to communicate in fun ways is evident in my sessions.
